EID AL-ADHA

At iHelp International, in partnership with the Afghan Association of Waterloo Region, we host a cultural celebration for Eid al-Adha. We organize public events that bring together over 1,000 people for a day of festivities. We welcome everyone, whether Muslim or non-Muslim, to join us in celebrating this special holiday.

Our events provide an opportunity to learn about the culture, enjoy music, delicious food, and refreshments, and have fun. Our event celebrates the richness of all cultures through diverse cultural performances, ensuring that the celebration extends beyond our own heritage. We offer interactive activities such as henna painting for women, face painting, community meals featuring festive dishes, storytelling sessions about the significance of Eid al-Adha, cultural exhibitions and displays, and charity drives to support those in need. Children are welcome to join the fun with a wide variety of games and activities designed just for them.

Our Eid al-Adha event is a significant holiday for us, but it’s also a time to celebrate all cultures and the sense of community that connects us all. We welcome everyone to join iHelp International in honoring this special day and embracing the unity and inclusiveness of our diverse community.
